What is this study?
A study for racial/ethnic minority LGBTQ+ folks to create a smartphone app for improving health.
Who can join this study?
Racial/ethnic minority men or trans women in a committed relationship* and living with HIV.
How long will this study be?
8 months.
Where will this study happen?
Online! All study activities will be remote (e.g., via Zoom) from the convenience of your home or a private place.
Why are you doing this study?
There are NO health apps created for racial/ethnic LGBTQ+ people. We want to fill this gap!
What will I be paid for participating?
You and your partner will each earn bewteen $180 and $430 over 8 months.
Who funds the study?
LetSync is funded by National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant R01MH118967 and has been approved by the UCSF Institutional Review Board (IRB #21-34580).
